pont Tibère
The Tiberian Bridge or Roman Bridge of Sommières is a Roman bridge whose construction is traditionally attributed to Emperor Tiberius during the first century. The bridge Tiberius crossed the Vidourle, coastal river of the Cevennes, at the level of the city of Sommières, in the French department of Gard, in the Occitanie region. By its length, it is the largest Roman bridge preserved in France.
