About

Cossa is a French archaeological site located in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne (Occitanie), near the village of Cos in the commune of Lamothe-Capdeville. It corresponds to a Gallo-Roman vicus mentioned on the map of Puisinger, but forgotten from the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century. This site has been the subject of several excavation campaigns, but it is now entirely rural.
