Pont de Tounis

The bridge of Tounis is a bridge of Toulouse. It is built of bricks between 1515 and 1528, at the request of the capituls, in order to connect the former island of Tounis to the right bank of the Garonne, crossing the upper arm of the river, the Garonnette. It is therefore the oldest bridge in the city, of a century the elder of the Pont-Neuf which was only completed in 1632.
