Church building
église Saint-Louis-en-l'Île
The Saint-Louis-en-Ile church is located on Île Saint-Louis at the corner of Rue Saint-Louis-en-Ile and Rue Poulletier. The building was built in several stages from 1624 to 1726. His patron saint is Saint Louis, king of France.
The parish is currently one of the smallest in the diocese of Paris. It covers half of the island of La Cité, the island of Saint-Louis itself and the former island Louviers (the part between the current boulevard Morland and the Seine).
