About

The church of Saint-Alban-et-Saint-Roch is erected in the commune of Saint-Alban-d'Ay, department of Ardèche in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Its neo-Gothic architecture is the work of an architect from Annonay. It could be Prosper Borione (1815 - 1895), the author of several neo-Gothic churches in Upper Victoria.

Thus the church of St. Alban and St. Roch has similarities with those of St.

Joseph of Annonay (1870 - 1872), Villevocance (1874 - 1877). The building is located in the heart of the capital of the commune on the edge of the department 578 A linking Roiffieux, small town of the suburbs of Annonay to Lalouvesc via Satillieu.
