Barèges Spa is a hydrothermal centre located in Barèges, Pays Toy, Hautes-Pyrénées department. The thermal centre of Barèges which is the highest in France with 1,250 m of altitude and the oldest in France (still in continuous operation on the same site) provides care in the grandiose setting of the Tourmalet and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, whose fame is borne by the testimony of the curists. The thermal centre of Barèges has hot thermal springs whose curative virtues apply mainly to rheumatology, traumatology, fibromyalgia, algodystrophy and the respiratory tract (ORL). The thermal centre is under the management of Barèges-Barzun thermal union.
