La Roche-aux-Fées

La Roche-aux-Fées is a covered driveway located in the commune of Essé, in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine, in Brittany. Its name comes from a legend that the stones were brought by fairies, a legend often at the origin of the name "rock to the fairies" given to covered dolmens or alleys. This covered alley consists of more than 40 stones forming a corridor four times longer than wide, oriented north-north-west – south-south-east.
