About

The Pont de l'Isle Auger or Pont de Île Auger is a former medieval bridge (XIIIth in the 15th century) located in the French department of Indre-et-Loire. Crossing the Indre 2.5 km "flying" upstream of the village of Chambbourg, there are only two non-contiguous arches and four piles, two of which support one of the arches. It has been listed as a historical monument since 24 October 1927.
