Lamoricière
The Lamoricière was a liner of the Transatlantic General Company, put into service in February 1921 on the lines of North Africa, leaving Marseille, a service which he would perform until his sinking in 1942. In 1940, it was converted to coal heating due to war restrictions. It sank near the Balearic Islands during a storm in January 1942, killing 301 people. He was named after General Christophe de Lamoricière (1806-1865).
