Saint Denys Church is a parish Catholic church located in Arnoville, Val-d'Oise, France. It is an unknown work by neo-classical architect Jean-Baptiste Chaussard, which was completed in 1782 only a few years before the French Revolution. It replaces the medieval church, of very old foundation, which was located in the park of the castle of Arnouville.
The reconstruction is part of a large-scale urban project designed by Count Jean-Baptiste de Machault d'Arnouville, which covers both the castle and its estate, and the village. Chaussard leads a poor architectural discourse, and does nothing carved. Outside, only the facade received decorative care.
Inside, two doric colonnades bring a subdivision into three vessels. With the entanglement of the multiple strata of modelature and the arced pediment that dominates the niche of the altar altar altar, these are the only elements that structure the space.
