The chapel of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, also known as the chapel of Farsac, is a religious building located in the eastern part of the commune of Augne.

History: Emmanuel Jean de Brugière, a knight of Farsac, had this chapel built in 1857, to rest there after his death. Religious were supposed to take care of it, but this place fell into oblivion. This chapel is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.

Description: Today private property, the chapel is in poor condition and considered a threatened heritage. The large work was made with stones, granite and rubble. Its cover, typical of the Gothic style, was made of warhead arches. During the general inventory of the 1979 heritage, a sculpture was listed, but is no longer present. In cut granite, dated from the 19th century and 80 cm high and 40 cm wide, it was a relief decoration depicting Saint John the Baptist. It was above the entrance to the chapel.
