collégiale Saint-Michel de Laval
The collegiate Saint-Michel de Laval or collegiate Saint-Michel du Cimetière-Dieu was located in Laval, Mayenne. After the restoration of the cult in 1800, the Jesuits acquired the buildings in 1816 by public subscription. The college was demolished in 1968 to establish a supermarket.
Following Charles Maignan, his designation came either from a reference to Mont-Saint-Michel, or from the archangel Saint-Michel, the angel of victory. His weapons were of Azure to a Saint Michael of gold, terrorizing a devil as well.
