Chapelle du Saint-Crucifix

Origin: A local legend leads the construction of a religious building in the Crusades to house relics of the true Cross. The first written traces of an oratory on this place date from the end of the 15th century. A restoration took place in 1537, but the place was poorly maintained, gradually falling into ruin. Between 1629 and 1632, an epidemic of plague raged and the population promised the reconstruction of the building in the event of the end of the epidemic. The renovation began in 1634 (the vault key of a chapel) and ended in 1654 (the nave vault). During the revolution, it was concerned by the decree of the clergy property made available to the Nation and sold. In 1806 she returned to her role as a place of worship. On 9 July 1984, it was classified as historical monuments.
