Serrabone Priory

The priory Sainte-Marie de Serrabona (or Serrabone), founded in the early 11th century, is located at altitude on the commune of Boule-d'Amont in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Its northern portal, the capitals of its cloister and a very rare marble stand, dated the 12th century, form the most beautiful Romanesque sculpture ensemble in Roussillon. The church has been classified as historical monuments since 1875. Several objects are referenced in the Palissy database (see related records).
