Parc zoologique Val d'Hérault nature

Le Nouveau Monde is an association founded in May 2016 to run a zoological park and educational farm located in Saint-Thiberry in the Hérault department. The park is finally closed at the end of 2020. This small zoo succeeded the zoo and park Val d'Hérault Nature, a zoological park opened in November 2014 and closed after being declared in liquidation in December 2015. Set up in an old winery, where it was located on 15 hectares, it housed about 1 000 animals belonging to more than 300 species claimed, and was involved in more than 12 European programmes for endangered species.
