The castle of the Banchet or castle of the Magdeleine is an old castle, partly rebuilt in the 15th century and restored in the 19th century, center of the seigneury of the Banchet, which stands on the commune of Châteauneuf in the department of Saône-et-Loire, in the region Burgundy-Franche-Comté. The castle, the facades and roofs of outbuildings and related buildings, the neo-Gothic gate on the church side, the greenhouse, the feudal motte (including the cooler), the isolated tower and the park, are listed under the title of historical monuments by order of 28 May 2001.
