Château de Prény

The Château de Prény is a former castle located in the commune of Prény, France, in the current department of Meurthe-et-Moselle, whose origin remains obscure. It was the last fortress of the Dukes of Lorraine before the bishops of Metz. It was located not far from the castle of Dieulouard, which belonged to the bishops of Verdun and the castle of Mousson, possession of the Counts then Dukes of Bar. The castle has been classified as historical monuments since 1862, with the guard corps being registered in 2001.
