Musée Spitzner

About

The Spitzner Museum is an anatomical museum created in 1856 by Pierre Spitzner, of German origin (Stahlberg, October 4, 1833–96) and featuring human body wax mouldings and monstrosities. The museum then became a cabinet of medical curiosities presented at the fairs. The collection has been visible at the Faculty of Medicine in Montpellier since 2014.
