The covered driveway of Kermeur Bihan is a covered driveway located in the commune of Moëlan-sur-Mer, in the French department of Finistère.
History: R.-F The Men gave a short description of it at the end of the 19th century. Paul du Châtellier searched the site in 1882. The building is listed as historical monuments by order of 4 October 1982.
Description: The covered aisle is facing southeast/northwest. It is 16.20 m long. It is a "V"-covered lane: its internal width is steadily widening, from northwest to southeast, from 0.90 m to 1.45 m. It is bounded by eleven pillars on each side. To the southeast, most of the pillars lean in the driveway. It is closed at both ends by a pillar. The thickest cover table is 0.80 m thick. The height under slab is rather low (0.80 m maximum). The slabs are of Moëllan pink granite, the quartz blocks visible around the aisle correspond either to remains of the terre or to blocks reported.
Archeological material: During the excavations of 1882, the Châtellier discovered a rather rich archaeological material. Lithic furniture includes...
