chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Ronce
The Notre-Dame-de-la-Ronce Chapel is a chapel located in Caumont, in the Eure, Normandy. The chapel also bears the name of chapel perched because of its position, on a hillside on the banks of the Seine, backed by an oak several centuries old. A pilgrimage has been held since the 19th century in honour of the Virgin Mary on the last Wednesday of May. This pilgrimage of the chapel perched in Bas-Caumont has been listed in the Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage in France since 2009.
