collégiale Saint-Georges de Vendôme
The Collège Saint-Georges de Vendôme is an 11th century historical monument built in the courtyard of the Château de Vendôme. From the 11th century to its destruction at the Revolution, it preserved the burials of almost all the Counts and Dukes of Vendôme, the most famous of which were the parents of Henri IV, Antoine de Bourbon and Jeanne d'Albret, making a real necropolis. It was almost completely destroyed in 1793.
