dolmen de la Devèze
Dolmen de la Devèze is a dolmen located in the commune of Marcilhac-sur-Célé in the Lot department. It was built close to a cliff that dominates the valley of the Célé, near a crossing point, without being on a climax. The building was first searched in 1963-1964 by Jean Clottes and Jean-Pierre Lagasquie.
Three new excavation campaigns led by Jean-Pierre Lagasquie were conducted in 1992, 1993 and 1994 to study the architecture of his large tumulus. This building has been listed as historic monuments since 1997 as Dolmen de la Devèze-sud.
