Château de Saissac

The Château de Saissac is a former castle in the "Aude pays cathar" network, now in ruins, whose remains stand in the French commune of Saissac in the department of Aude, in the Occitanie region. It was the residence of a powerful vassal family of Trencavel, the Saissac. The ruins of the castle are listed as historical monuments by order of 17 February 1926.
