About

The bridge of Tréboul in the Cantal crosses the Truyère between the communes of Sainte-Marie and Lieutadès. The old stone bridge now submerged has been listed since 1927 as a historic monument. It is now drowned by the Sarrans Dam Lake built from 1930 to 1934 and is therefore only visible during periodic discharges of the lake.

This was the case in 1979 and 2014. It bears the name of the old village located nearby, drowned at the same time as the bridge. A suspension bridge succeeded him in 1935.
