Grimaldi Castle is a former castle dating back to the 14th century, which stands on the territory of the French commune of Cagnes-sur-Mer in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The Grimaldi of Antibes, branch of the Grimaldi house, owned this castle for nearly 500 years (from 1309 to the Revolution). The building, which is classified as historical monuments, has been home since 1946 to the Museum of Modern Art and Ethnography of the city and a museum reproducing the portraits of the cabaret singer Suzy Solidor, including the Portrait of Suzy Solidor by Tamara de Lempicka.

Location: The castle stands at the top of the village in the Haut-de-Cagnes, in the French department of the Alpes-Maritimes on the French Riviera. Its tower dominates the 360° horizon with a beautiful panorama of Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps.
