Obelisk
obélisque de Marie-Antoinette
The obelisk of Marie-Antoinette, sometimes referred to as the pyramid of Fontainebleau or simply the Pyramide, is an obelisk located in Fontainebleau, France. Built in 1786 in the centre of the Place de l'Obelisque, it is part of the national estate of the Château de Fontainebleau. It is a reduction of the Vatican obelisk located in St Peter's Square. The four roadblocks, located beside it and which have been displaced several times, have been listed as historic monuments since 1949.
