About

The Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, also known as the Bonne-Dame Chapel, is a 19th-century Catholic religious building located in Fontainebleau, France. It pays tribute to a legend that, in the seventeenth century, a horseman's packaged mount would have stopped after he had invoked the Virgin Mary. By local and religious tradition, its location is a place of pilgrimage. The chapel has been listed as historical monuments since 1926.
