Calvaire de la chapelle de Lancerf

Description: This calvary was formerly located in Plourivo. The chapel would belong to the 16th century, but would have undergone significant modifications in the 17th and 19th centuries. It has a nave with two small chapels forming transept and a south side porch. The only interesting element is the small calvary, probably of the eighteenth century, which must come from the cemetery that surrounded the church, and which was placed at the top of the arch of the southern gate. This chapel would retain the remains of a son and grandson of Napoleon III.

The Calvary is registered as historical monuments by order of 6 May 1927.

Protection: The chapel of Lancerf (in the commune of Plourivo), inscribed entirely by decree of 6 May 1927, was removed from the additional inventory of historical monuments - with the exception of the calvary placed at the top of the arch of the southern gate - by order of 27 July 1938.
