The Notre Dame de Runan Church is a Catholic church built between the end of the 14th century and the middle of the 16th century. It is located in the commune of Runan, in the French department of Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany. The building of the church benefits from both the protection of the Dukes of Brittany, the protection of the commanding offices of the Palacret and the Feuillée des Hospitaliers de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem, as well as the patronage of the local aristocracy.
All these protectors have left their mark in the decoration of the building: the Dukes of Brittany have granted fair privileges which have allowed to finance several works campaigns; the noble locals supported the construction of the bell tower-porch and the construction of the master window in 1423, and the hospital commander Pierre de Keramborgne financed the renovation of the south side, with the seigneurial chapel, and the southern portal carved in 1438. The most important elements are the gable-lined southern front with its sculpted portal and the glass mistress whose tympanum bears the arms and motto of Duke John V above lancettes sheltering holy characters in front of precious hangings.
