About

La Croix de Laangoërat, a village in the commune Kermoroc'h of the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany, France, is a 17th-century cross. It was listed as a historic monument on December 7, 1925. This monument is intermediate between the simple road cross and the great calvaries.

Calvaire de Langouérat à Kermoroc'h

At the four corners of the base are Saints Peter, Paul, Andrew and Yves and, under the cross, some characters of the Passion and angels who collect the blood of Christ. At the obverse of the cross, God the Father and Christ on the cross. On the barrel are carved the marks of the torture: two feet, two hands and a chalice.
