chapelle Notre-Dame de Quilinen
The Notre-Dame de Quilinen chapel, located in the heart of the village of Quilinen in the municipality of Landrevarzec, north of Quimper, in Brittany, is famous for its amazing murals, its partially stone vaults, rare in Brittany, as well as its triangular-based calvary, on which rests two triangles of superimposed stones forming a star of David which accommodate forty seven statues. 15th century seigneurial building, attested by the sources in 1495, classified as historical monuments in 1990, the chapel, former trevial church, was the subject of a major restoration between 2013 and 2017, reappearing from 16th century murals. The calvary was restored in 2018.
