About

The Parc des Sources is a park located in Vichy, in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the thermal district. Destined at the promenade, it is the oldest in the city, created in 1812 by Napoleon I. The entire park, classified as historical monuments on June 14, 1994, includes, from the north to the south, the 1903 Springs Hall, the covered galleries of the Emile Robert Ferronier d'Art from the 1889 Universal Exposition, a 1920 music kiosk, a 1928 Horse Iron Gallery, and the circular building of the Hospital's source.

Parc des Sources

The park is part of the thermal estate, owned by the city of Vichy since 5 March 2021, and is included in the transnational site of the Great Water Cities of Europe, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 24 July 2021. A major renovation of the park (main-space renovation, pedestrianization of some lanes) has been under way since 2023 and is expected to be completed in early 2026.
