Notre-Dame de Saint-Flour Church is a former Catholic church in Saint-Flour, Cantal department.
History: The permission to build the church was granted in 1323, and its realization lasted until the 15th century. During the Revolution, alterations were made to the church, including the suppression of the vaults of the nave and the reduction of a span to the west. As a result, the church is abandoned, transformed into halls and then used by the municipality as a storage place for the equipment.
Description: The structure consists of a large single nave with five vaulted spans on cross-heads, with foothills between which are integrated side chapels. The polygonal choir is surrounded by five equally polygonal chapels. A massive bell tower, square in shape and with defensive features, is flanked by an octagonal turret allowing access to the upper levels. It rises on a span on the south side. The architecture features the distinctive features of the local style.
