The former Collège Notre-Dame de Mehun-sur-Yèvre is located in the heart of Mehun-sur-Yèvre, between the castle and the old town; Its construction began at the edge of the eleventh century by reusing elements of the old castrum and relying on the fortifications of the city. Its horse iron walk and its flamboyant Gothic chapel make it a remarkable and special monument. It has been a historic monument since 1840.
