église Notre-Dame de la Haye
The Church of Our Lady of The Hague is a former parish church abandoned in the city of Descartes, in the French department of Indre-et-Loire. This church, an ancient castral chapel founded in the Romanesque period but enlarged in Gothic style, then became a parish church. It retained this status until the French Revolution, where it was sold as a national good.
Converted into a barn, its condition gradually deteriorates. Restorations began in the 1980s and was classified as a historical monument in 1981 and later in 1994.
