Generalities: La Croix is located on the square of the church Saint-André, in the commune of Aromas, belonging to the Jura department, in the region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

History: The cross is dated from the 14th or 15th century. It is classified as historical monuments by order of 24 November 1906.

Description: Built in stone, the ensemble consists of a square base, an octagonal barrel and a crusillon separated by a capital. It is decorated with flowers and other plant expressions. At the iconographic level, a Christ is present on one side of the cross and a Virgin to the child on the other side. Under the arms of the crusillon, statues of St Peter and St Andrew are also present.
