Château de Salans

The castle of Salans is a castle located in the village of Salans in the Jura, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. The present castle retains the imprint of Baron Charles de Saint-Juan (1785-1862), General Councillor of the Doubs, who at the beginning of the 19th century completely restored in a neoclassical style a mansion built in the early 17th century by the Laborey family. The castle and its park have been listed as historical monuments since July 23, 1992.
