The cemetery cross in Nieul-le-Virouil, a commune in the Charente-Maritime department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, is a 15th-century cemetery cross. It is located on the church square, at the place where the cemetery was once located. The cross was listed as a historic monument on February 23, 1925.
This cross, which rests on stone steps, is decorated on several levels of characters, some of which may have been mutilated during the Revolution or degraded by time. Part of the west face, carved in glacis, with protruding edge and forming desk, allowed to place a missel, and the rounded corners, also in protruding, could receive the hollow foot of a candlestick. It is decorated with torso columns and prismatic veins.
