restes romains de Tarquimpol
The ancient theatre of Tarquimpol is a theatre building built in the city of Decempagi, now Tarquimpol in the French department of Moselle (Great East region). Revealed by aerial photography in 1981, this theatre probably measuring 117 m in diameter could accommodate up to 16,000 people. The archaeological site of Tarquimpol as a whole was classified as a historical monument in 1930, including the remains of the theatre, even though the discovery of these remains was later.
