Castellum romain d'Anse

The Roman castellam of Anse is an ancient fortification in the commune of Anse, in the French department of the Rhône (region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). This defensive device, intended to house a garrison, is probably built in the second half of the third century. Remaining remains, sections of courtine and towers, are protected as historical monuments (1926, 1935 and 1936).
