église Sainte-Foy de Chalus
Sainte-Foy de Chalus Church is a Catholic church located in Chalus, Puy-de-Dôme department, France. It was listed as historic monuments in 1989. The building has a nave, a span under a bell tower and a small Romanesque sanctuary; Lateral chapels were added in the 15th century.
The choir ends with a flat wall and has a sacrarium, or cavities-cachette, two meters underground. Outside, the southern cornice retained a row of carved modillons. The floor of the bell tower is mounted on a rectangular massif surmounted by a larmier.
It is pierced, on its east and west sides, by two bays in the middle of the hanger, and by one bay on the other two sides.
