Theater building
théâtre municipal Jacques-Cœur
Jacques-Coeur Municipal Theatre is a theatre located in Bourges, Cher department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. This iconic building, inaugurated in 1860, is named after King Charles VII's silversmith, Jacques Coeur, a native of Bourges, whose hotel is next to the theatre. The Jacques-Cœur theatre is a high place[desirable ref.] in Berruyère cultural life, and its history spans centuries, mixing the legacy of the old hotel in Limoges and the construction of the current building by architect Gabriel Émile Alexis Bussière (1818-1903).
