Space Mountain

Space Mountain (lit. "Space Mountain") is an attraction of the enclosed Disney roller coaster parks. It is present in most enchanted Kingdoms, in the theme areas Tomorrowland and Discoveryland.

The first version was inaugurated in 1975 at Magic Kingdom to add a sensational attraction to the image of Matterhorn Bobsleds. In the following years, other simplified versions opened at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland. At Disneyland Park, the Discovery Mountain project is profoundly redesigned and renamed Space Mountain: From Earth to the Moon just before its opening in 1995.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Space Mountain was inaugurated at the same time as the park in 2005 and is highly similar to its California version.
