Musée de l'automate

The Automate Museum is a museum run by the city of Souillacentre on 9 July 1988 and 31 October 2022. It housed a national collection of mechanical automatons and toys from the late 19th to late 20th centuries, mainly from the Roullet-Decamps house. With more than 300 pieces, it was one of Europe's largest collections of antique automatons and mechanical toys.

The museum has been closed since September 2022 and the collection has left with its owner, MUCEM, in Marseille. Some rooms belonging to the commune have been preserved.
