The belfry of the town hall of Armentières is located in the northern department in Armentiles. An iconic monument, it was admitted in 2005 to the UNESCO World Heritage Site among a list of 23 belfries from Belgium and France. City Hall - of which the belfry - has been registered as historical monuments since 4 March 2002.
