château de Bouges
The Château de Bouges is a French castle located in the commune of Bouches-le-Château in the department of Indre and the region Centre-Val de Loire. This country pavilion, or elegant "madness" built of cut stone, was built in 1765 by an unidentified architect for Claude Charles François Leblanc de Marnaval, master of forges and director of the Royal Manufacture of Sheets of Châteauroux. Protected as historical monuments, the Bouges Castle, like about a hundred other monuments, owned by the State, is managed, animated and open to visitors by the National Monuments Centre.
