About

The Rodilhan Arenas, first built in 1959, are the municipal arenas of the commune of Rodilhan in the French department of Gard, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. They replaced a cart plan on the village square where the bull races took place, and where the track was bounded by carts serving as barriers according to the custom of the country of cattle. At the start dedicated exclusively to the Camargue race, they gradually evolved towards the novillidas without picador, then towards the formal bullfighting.
