The Maison du Patrimoine de Villard-de-Lans, sometimes abbreviated as "La Maison du Patrimoine", is a local museum located in Villard-de-Lans, France, located in the former town hall of the commune. This museum, which houses several permanent exhibition rooms, traces the history of daily activities for the various human communities that lived on the plateau of Vercors, from the late 19th to the early 20th century. The building, owned by the municipality of Villard-de-Lans, is managed by the local tourist office.
This Heritage House has the particularity of presenting also temporary exhibitions, still in connection with the country of the "four-mountains", micro-region which today corresponds to the territories of the six communes that make up the community of communes of the Massif du Vercors. The Maison du Patrimoine houses one of France's largest collections of beef yokes with 133 pieces, but these yokes, due to the importance of this collection, cannot be exposed to the public in their entirety. Visitors can however discover the most notable in one of the rooms of this local museum.
