château d'Agel
The castle of Agel is an ancient fortress of the early twelfth century transformed in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. This historic monument building is located in the village of Agel, Hérault department.
Protection: The complex comprising the facades and roofs of the castle, the fireplace of the old kitchen on the ground floor, the stairway facing each of the two towers, the enclosure wall with the three round corner towers and the remains of the two square towers, the all cadastre AB 122 and 123, has been registered as historical monuments since 16 May 1979.
