Bernafay Wood British Cemetery, Montauban (Bernafay Wood Cemetery, Montauban) is a military cemetery in the municipality of Montauban-de-Picardie, Somme department, north-east of Amiens.

Location: This cemetery is located about 2 km northeast of the village, on D 197 towards Longueval.

The village of Montauban-de-Picardie was taken by the 30th and 18th Divisions on 1 July 1916, the first day of the Battle of the Somme, and remained in the hands of Commonwealth troops until the end of March 1918, when it would return to German hands. It was taken over on August 25, 1918 by the 7th Buffs and the 1st Royal Fusiliers of the 18th Division. Located northeast of the village of Montauban, the Bernafay wood, which has an area of about 15 ha nowadays, will remain a strategic place for the belligerent throughout the war.
